We are those who bear witness to the name of the Lord as we are secured by the Lord. The Lord’s name is what defines Him. You cannot abstract the name from the Lord HImself. So, when can we use this name? Can we take an oath? What do we do with Christ stating that we are not to take oaths in Matthew 5?
