Lord’s day 19 of the Heidelberg Catechism continues with the Apostles Creed, and what it says about the ascension of Christ. The Catechism lays out that Christ is ascended at the right hand of God. This ascension does two things for us: First, we receive the heavenly graces, and second He defends us from all our enemies. However, we are still left with the question of, “What’s Good about the Ascension?” Please stay tuned as we answer this question in our sermon titled, “What’s Good About the Ascension?”
