What is the Great Mystery of Godliness? (1 Timothy 3:16; LD 14) | 2009-2010 Catechism Sermons

The apostle Paul writes so that we may know how to behave in the household of God. He then speaks of godliness being a mystery. If he is writing so that we know how to behave then why is godliness a mystery? What does Christ being born of a woman have to do with godliness? Why is it important that Christ was vindicated by the Spirit? Why is it important that Christ is manifested in the flesh? God has always interacted in history, and so why is the work of Christ so unique? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned as we hear, “What is the Great Mystery of Godliness?”
