What is False Worship? (Deut. 4:1-30; I Peter 1:13-23; LD 35) | 2006-2007 Catechism Sermons

Moses holds for to Israel the wisdom of God. He declares the wisdom of God is the law. However we can see in the New Testament that Christ is the wisdom of God. How can these two things to be reconciled? There is another tension that we perceive. If Israel did not properly worship God they were exiled, but Peter greets the church as the exiled people. Does this mean that we have failed? Does this mean that we cannot draw near to God in our worship? If you are wondering about these questions please stay tuned as we hear, “What is False Worship?”
