The apostle Paul exhorts the church and reminds the church that we do not live by the wisdom of this world. We are those who live by the wisdom of God. He then speaks of the nature of God’s war and victory as it is manifested through suffering unto glory. Is this movement from suffering to glory all that significant? Does Christ really win the war through suffering? Is this suffering only on the cross or is it throughout the life of Christ?
