Jesus, Son of David, Son of Abraham, Son of God (2) (Matthew 1:18-25)

Matthew’s genealogy makes clear that Christ is the Son of David, Son of Abraham, and Son of God. It is also clear that the Lord will prevail and establish His kingdom. Now, we see the historical account of this child entering history. What does His name mean? Why is He called Jesus Emmanuel? How can Jesus embody these names? Why do we need him to embody these names? Why is His lineage so essential? Please keep listening as we work through these questions in our sermon titled, "Son of David, Son of Abraham, and Son of God (2)."
