If we were asked about idolatry we probably would say that it is worshipping a god other than the Christian God. There is no doubt that this is true. However, is there more to this commandment against idolatry? The apostle Paul states that a covetous person is an idolator. How can this be the case? What does it mean that a covetous person cannot inherit the kingdom of God? Does this mean that if we fall into sin we are out of the kingdom?
