Heavenly Households (LD 39; Colossians 3:18-4:1) | 2010-2011 Catechism Sermons

The fifth commandment calls children to obey their parents. It also calls us to obey authority that is placed over us. Why should we want to obey authority? How are Christians supposed to function in their authority roles? How do Paul’s exhortations and motivations for conforming to Christ show us the power of heaven now? In other words how do these exhortations show us a manifestation of heaven on earth? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned to our sermon titled, “Heavenly Households.”
