Give Us Our Daily Bread (LD 50; Luke 11:3) | 2012 Catechism Sermons

When we think of prayer we think of prayer as being something that is reserved for spiritual struggles. We know that God is a spirit and so what can God know about bodies? So, it would seem logical that we would not bother God for our daily physical needs. However, is this thinking consistent with the Lord’s prayer? What does the Lord’s prayer tell us about our asking God for our physical needs? How can this request be consistent with God being a spirit? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned to our sermon titled, “Give Us Our Daily Bread.”
