The doctrine of Justification is one of the things that sparked the Reformation. Rome believed that Christians are justified by the grace of God enabling one to be justified. The reformers said that justification is a one time declaration that is ours through faith alone in Christ alone. There is a sense in Paul’s theology where he speaks of Christ being justified. How can we say that Christ’s justification is the basis of our justification? Justification has to do with sin right? So, does that mean that Christ was a sinner?
