Confessing to our Priest (LD 14; Hebrews 4:14-16) | 2010-2011 Catechism Sermons

We are told to hold fast our confession. This is rather depressing when we consider the context of this exhortation is Israel not entering her rest. How are we supposed to hold fast to our confession? How are we to endure through this age when Christ is so far from us? Where are we to place our hope as we long to enter the heavenly city on that last day? How come we do not have a visible priest like Israel did? Please stay tuned to our sermon titled, “Confessing to Our High Priest.”
