I bet that if you went out into the street and asked people about a pharisee I am sure you would get a variety of answers. I bet if you asked in the church you would get a variety of answers as well, but most people would agree that they wanted to be righteous. Is it bad to be righteous? We are called to conform to Christ, and so what is wrong with being righteous? How do we know if we are pursing the things of the Lord or whether we are being a pharisee?
