A Monumental Moment (Joshua 4:1-24)

When we travel and see monuments we look at them and remember the significant event or person that is commemorated. Rarely, do we see an irony in these monuments. However, the monument at Gilgal commemorates a significant event, but will soon in Israel’s history become an icon of irony. What is the irony of this monument?
